My Designs Were Bought!

Considering the fact that my sewing machine has been broken for the last two months, I have forced myself to find other ways of design; I have constructed some jewelry, threw some paint on a canvas and called it "art", screen-printed some influential icons on some shirts, and made some funky headbands. As it turns out, there's a demand for some of the headbands.

I just sold my first set of headbands in San Francisco today!

On another note...
I'm loving Liza Rietz Fall/Winter '09 collection. Using mostly blacks, grays, and browns, the Portland based designer, Liza Rietz, creates a shocking and straightforward appearance with her designs. Her clothing is innovative, new, and simply gorgeous! Photos below.
